1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The John W. McDevitt (Fourth Degree) Scholarship was established in tribute to the 11th Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, John W. McDevitt. An applicant must be an entering freshman year, of a four-year, undergraduate program, leading to a bachelor's degree, at a Catholic college or Catholic university, in the United States. They must be a member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus, a son or daughter of such a member, or of a such a deceased member, who at the time of death, was in good standing, or a Columbian Squire in good standing. Students applying to The Catholic University of America must contact CUA directly to indicate their eligibility for a Knights of Columbus scholarship on the CUA's application.
