1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Asian Pacific Fund offers 10 named scholarships which are for graduating high school seniors (incoming college freshmen) to graduate students. An applicant may apply for many scholarships as they like, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria and submit a separate application for each. Application deadlines for each of the programs are on the cover page of each scholarship application. Request an unofficial transcript from your school. Ask two of your counselors/teachers/professors to write you a letter of recommendation. There is no online application this year. We will only accept hard-copy applications postmarked by the deadline. Each scholarship application has required short essay questions (250-500 words). The essay questions allow students to explain their academic and career goals, community involvement, financial need and personal hardship. Please use the application's essay questions to guide your responses. Renewability is also dependent on each scholarship. Most scholarship decisions will be made by July 1, 2021. You will receive an email or letter in the mail notifying you of the status of your application. Download the application/s from the scholarship site.
