1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Foundation Education Award Scholarship will be awarded to qualified underrepresented minority medical students in an accredited Pennsylvania medical school. Applicants must be of the following racial or ethnic groups: African American or Black; Hispanic or Latino; Native American (American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian); Southeast Asian subgroup (Vietnamese, Cambodian, Indonesian, Laotian). Two reference letters, from persons other than family members, documenting the applicant's integrity, interpersonal skills, and potential as a future physician are required. One reference letter must be from a physician or medical school faculty. A letter, on school letterhead, from the applicant's medical school verifying that they are enrolled as a medical student at that institution is also required.
