The aim of this award is to enhance research efforts and increase academic exchange opportunities in two specific areas of interest in Chile/U.S. academic work - Astronomy and Data Sciences, and Antarctic Studies. The award seeks to fund up to five postdoctoral fellows and early career scientists for three to four months. Final grant amounts will be determined prior to the start of the academic year and are subject to the availability of funds. The United States Department of State and the Fulbright Commission in the host country reserve the right to alter, without notice, participating countries, number of awards and allowances.
